I like the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I have not quite finished it yet but I only have two chapters left. I would recommend this book to anyone even if they are the kind of person that hates to read. I am not the type of person that likes to read but Twilight was a very good book. It grabs your attention and keeps you interested throughout the whole thing. In my opinion the book is way better than the movie. After I finish this book I will have to continue to read the rest of the series because I want to know what happens.

I would not change one part about this book. Twilight is a very good book. Everything in it happens for a reason. If i would change something it would throw everything off track because one thing leads to the next.

After Bella meets the Cullen family they go play baseball. They play during a thunder storm because every time they hit the ball it makes a big loud noise. While they are playing baseball Alice has a vision. In her vision she sees three other vampires heading their way because they heard them playing the game. The Cullens continue playing until the other vampires finally show up. Bella noticed that they were very different from the Cullens. Their walk was catlike, they dressed like backpackers: jeans and casual button-down shirts in heavy, waterproof fabrics. The clothes were frayed and they were barefoot. Both men had cropped hair, but the woman's orange hair was filled with leaves from the woods. Their eyes were different; not the gold or black that Bella had expected but they were a deep burgundy color. Their names were James, Victoria, and Laurent. Once they noticed that Bella was a human they were out to get her. She was in danger but the Cullens have a plan to keep her safe.

In the book Twilight Bella moves to Forks, Washington to live with her father. As a welcome home present he gives her a truck. Bella is very quiet and she isn't very sociable. Her first few days at school were okay and then she meets this mysterious boy. His name is Edward Cullen. Bella finds out that he is a vampire but she doesn't mind. Edward invites Bella to his house so she can meet his family. They invited her to watch them play baseball one evening. The Cullens love to play baseball but they can only play when there is a big thunder storm because when they hit the ball it makes a loud crashing sound. This is all the farther I have gotten in this book.

Questions:
1. Is Bella going to become a vampire?
2. Will Charlie ever find out that Edward is a vampire?
3. Will Edward and Bella get married and possibly have a kid?

The setting in Twilight is in Forks, Washington. It is always raining there and you would be lucky if you woke up to a dry, sunny day. Bella thought it was a beautiful place but it was too green. Everything was green: the trees, their trunks covered with moss, their branches hanging with a canopy of it, and the ground covered with ferns. Even the air filtered down greenly through the leaves. The time period in Twilight is very recent. The socioeconomic characteristics in this book are mostly middle class except for the Cullen family. The Cullens are rich; they have a nice house and very expensive cars.

The main characters in the book Twilight are Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen. There are many other characters in this book but I'm only going to tell you about the two main ones. Stephanie Meyer, the author of this book, directly describes Isabella and Edward.
Isabella Swan is a 17 year old girl from Phoenix and she prefers to be called Bella. She was ivory-skinned with blue eyes and brown/red hair. Bella had always been slender, but soft somehow, obviously not an athlete. She didn't have the necessary hand-eye coordination to play sports without humiliating herself. She doesn't mind being alone; she likes to keep to herself. Bella doesn't think she relates well to people her age.
Edward Cullen is a 17 year old boy. He was less bulky than his siblings with untidy, bronze-colored hair. Edward had chalky pale skin with dark eyes. He also had dark shadows under his eyes. They were purplish bruise like shadows as if he was suffering from a sleepless night. Bella thought he had a beautiful face; one that you might see in a fashion magazine. Edward is quiet and mysterious. In the beginning of the book he acts very strange around Bella. Later on Bella was talking to a friend and he gave her the thought of Edward possibly being a vampire.

Twilight (MS)

I have chosen to read the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I chose this book because some of my friends told me it was a good book to read. Everyone is making such a big deal about the whole Twilight series so i have decided to see what it's all about.
I am two chapters into this book and so far a 17 year old girl named Bella moved to Forks to live with her father. Forks is a small town in Washington and it rains nonstop. Charlie, Bella's father, bought her a truck as a welcome home present. On Bella's first day of school she makes a few friends, but she notices something different about the Cullen family. They have very pale skin and she thought they were beautiful. Edward Cullen is in her biology class and he acts strange when he is around her. On her second day of school she notices that Edward wasn't there and he finally showed up a week later. When he comes back he starts making a conversation with Bella.
That is all the farther I have gotten in this book.
